Key Features of Advance Business Collaborator:

Key Features of Advance Business Collaborator:

Data Transformation:
When important business documents either enter or leave the business, they have to be transformed into or out of the trading partner’s document format (sometimes multiple formats). Advanced Business Collaborator’s powerful transformation engine can manage multiple conversions of a single document using XML as the intermediary format. Each one of these can then be integrated into other applications, before continuing with the normal document processing routine, e.g. Invoices can be transformed into a standard in-house format and archived before processing.

Systems Integration:
This same capability can be used to integrate different applications within the same business, taking output from one application and transforming it into a format for another application prior to secure delivery. Advanced Business Collaborator can also be set up to initiate other programs automatically. For example, via an API, it can initiate a program on another machine, instructing it to collect and process a newly transformed file of data.

Workflow:
For users requiring an ability to take intelligent action on incoming or outgoing documents (different views or formats for different applications) the Advance-Workflow module (business rules router) contained within Advanced Business Collaborator should suit all your business needs. Using simple instructions for every document that passes through Advanced Business Collaborator, each document (based on trading partner, document type and document direction) can be transformed and routed, via numerous routes, into other applications, either internally or externally.

Secure & Auditable Communications:
By using Advanced Business Collaborator, companies can manage communications interface through to their trading community via trading partner profiles. Advanced Business Collaborator will manage multiple messages, partners and communication routes, including the following communications protocols:

  • AS1 (secure and auditable email based EDI over the Internet)
  • AS2 (secure and auditable server to server EDI over the Internet)
  • EDI VANS (High speed VPN connection)
  • FTP/SFTP/FTPS (File Transfer Protocol/Secure FTP using SSH/Secure FTP using implicit SSL)
  • Secure Email
  • Gateways to closed business communities

Features summary:

  • Multi-Format Transformation Engine (XML, EDI, HTML, CSV, Flat File, JSON).
  • Powerful Integration capability.
  • Data Validation “In document”.
  • API’s (application program interface) to initiate other applications.
  • Intelligent Document Routing.
  • Advanced Workflow functionality.

Hardware & Software Dependencies:

There are no specific hardware or software dependencies. Advanced Business Collaborator will operate successfully on most current Intel based laptops or machines running MS Windows 10 or above with Internet access and a SMTP email account. It is advisable to have an external hard drive or similar for system backups and a spreadsheet application such as Microsoft Excel that can process .CSV files. The latter is required if it is intended to use the “spreadsheet view” when displaying incoming or outgoing messages.
